Stefan Schmidt

As a graduate engineer, Stefan has worked for over three decades in Europe and abroad in managerial positions in spinning, weaving, nonwovens, knitting and finishing. Since 2012, he has headed three departments at the Industrial Association for Finishing, Yarns, Fabrics and Technical Textiles (IVGT), where he works with companies in the fields of natural fibres and polymers, research, sustainability and standardisation.
