Brecht Demedts

Brecht has about 15 years of experience in research of which the last 10 at Centexbel, the Belgian knowledge center for textiles and plastics. His research focuses on polylactic acid (PLA) and polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), two biopolymers which were not often used for coatings and inks. Brecht has been using his expertise in his research to use these biopolymers for coatings, inks and adhesives using different techniques such as emulsifications, dispersions, hotmelts and plastisols.
