Thomas Fischer studied engineering cybernetics at the University of Stuttgart. His PhD dealt with cooperative product development of protective clothing in a European network. Since 2000 he is with DITF Denkendorf, currently as a Deputy Director of the Centre for Management Research. His current work focuses on digital engineering, sustainability and the application of AI methods in the textile industry.
